Become an Author

Activity 2: We are going to create a classroom rhyming book. Your job is to think of an animal you would like to be. You are going to follow this outline. I would be a/an ________________, because _________________________________. Here is an example. I would be a whale, because I could swim all day with my huge tail. Notice how whale and tail rhyme. Your job is to pick your favorite animal and then tell me why. Make sure when your tell me why that your last word rhymes with your animal. Once you have your sentence, write it neatly on a piece of computer paper and then draw a picture of your animal.
