What is an Emu? |
An Emu is only found in Australia. It is the largest bird in Australia. They have long necks and sharp beaks. Emus only have three toes on each foot. There is one toe on each foot that is used for fighting. Emus can grow to be about 6.5 feet tall and weight around 130 pounds. They can run up to about 30 miles per hour but they cannot fly. Emus are great swimmers. Emus eat grains, flowers, berries, insects and grubs. |
