Reading Reflection #1


The article, "Schools, Teachers Behind in Technology Use," was a very interesting article.  In this article, it states that even though computers are being used more and more in schools, teachers are not as technology "smart" as their students.  At this point the Americans are split about what to do with technology.  There are people who think cell phone are evil or they wouldn't even know how to turn on a computer.   Know wonder the students of today are born into a technologically advanced society, while the adult teachers have to learn how to work with all the new technology.  Teachers are now using computers for communication with parents as well and parents with teachers.  There are more and more education tools are found through the Internet.  Some students think that it would help teachers to take technology classes.  Personally now that I have taken this course I am so excited to use all the new things that I have learned.  In addition it just drives me to want to learn more.
