Yo:
Nosotros: -amos
Tú: -aste
Vosotros: -asteis
Usted/él/ella:
Ustedes/ellos/ellas: -aron

2. The preterite is used for actions that were repeated a specific number of times, or occurred a specific number of times.
3. The preterite is used for actions that were part of a chain of events.
4. The preterite is used to state the beginning or end of an action.
