How should we act in the classroom?
Number 1 Rule= RESPECT
-Respect each other
-Respect yourselves
-Respect the materials in the room

Classroom Rules:

·         PUNCTUAL: Be on time!

·         PREPARED: Pencil, Paper, Homework

·         POLITE: Be respectful (use kind words, follow reasonable requests, etc.)

·         PRODUCTIVE: Remain on task and  complete classwork

Discipline Policy:

            Henninger’s school handbook outlines the policy on unexcused absences and tardiness; familiarize yourself with the consequences before you slip into bad habits.

           No swearing or name-calling.

          Electronic distractions (cell phones, iPods, etc.) are not allowed to be seen or heard in class.

          Three incidences address by the teacher, and the student will be asked to leave class and report to an administrator.

Consequences:

Distractions to your learning or the learning of others is NOT permitted!

·         2 warnings (verbal or a request to move) will be given.

·         The 3rd time I have to speak to you, you will be sent to administration with a referral, and a phone call home will be made.

·         If the problem persists, a Parent-Teacher conference will be requested.

·         If the problem continues to persist, or the students’ actions are deemed unsafe, the consequences will be discussed and determined with an administrator.
