Objectives

SWBAT ( Student will be able to)

1. Using target language students will be able to identify and pronounce the names of various shopping items found in shopping list.
2. Students will be able to understand vocabulary words related to today's topic.
3.Students will be able to use the words " this and that" and ask questions using "is" and "how".
4. Students will be able to answer questions in practice assignments and write their own grocery list.

 

Materials

A "shopping list" and the article, "Healthy Grocery Shopping List"

Handout of with words and pictures to today's lesson

 

Procedures:

1. Preparation Phase (pre -reading/listening): Review shopping list; class and I will read the article on "Healthy Grocery Shopping List".

2. Identify main idea - Ask students:

3. Identify details - grocery items

4. Organize and revise main ideas and details?

5. Recreate the text

6. React to text
