*Project 6*

For this project we were required to make a school newsletter and calendar using Microsoft Publisher. Our newsletter had to be three pages in length and our calendar just one. I worked with Jessie and Katy to do this project. I think that group for this project worked well. I think it was good because we were able to work with whoever we wanted. We were allowed to work alone or in a group.

While creating this project, we had to learn how to navigate Microsoft Publisher. At first I though this would be a hard task because there are so many different features in Microsoft Publisher but after playing around with it in class for a little while, I became familiar with the program. We only used to the newsletter and calendar features. We were able to change the color, font and size of the templates. We also used clip art to make our final products eye catching. We were also required to use other sources to teach us about Microsoft Publisher, they are as followed:

I know that I will use Microsoft Publisher in the future. I think that it is a very helpful teaching tool.
Being able to create newsletters, calendars, handouts, letters and invitations all from the same program is amazing.
I know that this program will be useful to me in and out of the classroom. I can use it for personal projects as well,
such as birthday invitations or garage sale signs.
