For this project we were required to create puzzle. I decided to do a word search. I liked doing this project because I have tried to make word searches in the past and it took forever trying to make it myself. Puzzlemaker is a great resource for activities.
In order to create our puzzles we had to go to www.puzzlemaker.com and navigate within the site. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. After we completed the puzzle we had to upload it using WS_FTP. We also had to use print screen to copy a picture of our puzzle into our portfolio.
I know that I will use this program in my teaching career. I have already used it for two of my classes. I made word searches for my “if time” activity in both my science unit plan and my social studies unit plan.
