For this project we were asked to do a photo story. I really enjoyed this project! I was able to find a lot of pictures online of my friends from SUNY Cortland. I think that this is a great way to show others the people you love and the fun experiences you have had.
I thought the program Photo Story was easy to navigate through. The program takes you step by step through making your very own photo story. You add your pictures, you pick the transitions between slides and you pick the music. Everything is up to you, but instead of being a blank page that you have to work with, it guides you slowly through the steps. After you are done you have to upload to WS_FTP like all the other programs.
I know that I will use this program in my teaching career. Children, like adults, love to get their pictures taken. Taking pictures also helps document the students learning. By taking pictures of the students in action you are helping yourself remember specific activities and capturing memories to show their loved ones. I wish that I had pictures from my early years in school, but since I can not make that happen, I can take pictures of my students!
