All around Paris

*The Arc de Triomphe in the center of Paris honors those who fought in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. It is bigger than it looks!
*The Palace of Versailles, known to many monarchies as home and as a political court, is notorious and absolutely beautiful. The gardens, the King and Queen bedrooms, and the Hall of Mirrors were all so magnificent. It was unreal to be standing in a place that is so ancient. The enormity of Versailles is breaktaking.
*My sister Kelsey and I standing in front of the Sacre Coeur Basilica, with a view of Paris behind us. Walking the trek to the top was worth it. The view is amazing (as it's the highest point in Paris) and the basilica itself is simply beautiful. From there we walked down to the Montmartre art district where Moulin Rouge is located and where Vincent Van Gogh used to live.

*The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. One of the most notorious cathedrals in the world. The gargoyles, organs, and bells are infamous and beautiful.
*My mom, sister, and I on the Japanese Bridge in Monet's Garden in Giverny, France. The Japanese Bridge has been used for some of Claude Monet's most famous paintings. The garden was beautiful with many trees and thousands of flowers including the famous water lilies, and we even got to tour inside his house!
*The Louvre is one of the most famous museums of art history in the world. It houses the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and many other famous works of art. The museum is huge; in one day you can not see it all.
