First, we must prepare before we begin this project. Wash your hands. That’s not hard! Gather all the materials you need and put them in your workspace on your desk. You must clear your desk because you need a lot of space to construct and decorate this gingerbread house you are about to create.

Second, collect your materials. Take a pint-sized milk carton and place the carton onto your paper plate. Next, get a stack of graham crackers. These are to make the outside of your gingerbread house.

Third, begin making the house. Take a plastic knife and some frosting. Spread the frosting onto the carton. Next, stick the graham crackers onto the carton. The frosting will be like the glue you need to stick the graham crackers against the house to hold them in place.

Fourth, let’s decorate! Put more frosting on top of the graham crackers. This is so the candy will stick to the house. Then, the fun part! Decorate your gingerbread house with candies, marshmallows, cereal, or pretzels. For example, make a door, windows, or a chimney using the candies. Decorate your house
however you like. To help the candies stick better, take some frosting and put a small amount on the candies and stick them to the gingerbread house. It will help hold them in place.

Lastly, it’s time to enjoy your house! Once you have finished decorating your gingerbread house, add powdered sugar on the top and around the house to look like snow! Finally, you have your very own yummy gingerbread house to enjoy!
