Since we have been living in Madagascar, we have come in contact with many new friends and different creatures. They have all really helped us adapt to this new culture and environment. Without all of our interactions, our journey would not be complete. Below are some pictures of some of our new friends and animals.
A four year old girl who lives in one of the houses in our village. As well, she is one of the many students that we are getting the pleasure of working with here in Madagascar.
A Lemur, a popular wild life creature often sighted here. Madgascar is the only place in the entire world where you will find a Lemur living.
A Kestrel, another important wild life creature that we often encounter
Some of our kind-hearted neighbors
A class that we are teaching. Not only are we teaching these children, but we are learning a lot from them as well.
This is a Magpie-robin who we have named Robin, and we feed him daily
This creature is a Sifaka, we decided to name her Shufang. We encountered her while gathering sticks for a campfire
This desert tortoise is a slow-moving vertebrate that we have increasingly come into contact with. It evident that there are no shortages of tortoises in Madagascar. |
