Project # 2

For project #2 Brittany Okon, Gina Arnault and myself worked together in a group to create our Elementary School website. We chose to create three different links for our website including a calendar of events, a faculty members page and a school lunch menu page. We thought that these links would be good to include because they are things that we would look for on a school's website. We began. The calendar of events is important because with the busy schedule most students have and the many different events that many schools offer it is sometimes easy to lose track of the events or to misplace a hardcopy of the calendar of events. We decided to be creative with our faculty members page and include ourselves as the faculty and other friends we know as the principal and assistant princial. We also included a link to the school lunch menu, because once again this is something that a hardcopy can easily be misplaced. We became very frustrated with our project because none of the links and/or pictures were working correctly. We used the NVu program and Ws_fTp publishing program to create our Elementary School website.
