2. The present participle is formed by dropping the -er, -ir ending and adding: IENDO

3. For -ar endings, the present participle is  formed by  dropping the -ar ending and adding ANDO .

Answer: Sorry, this is past-tense.

He is eating.

Answer: Yay!! You got it! This IS the present progressive
