In order to read a text in your second language most adequately, you must first prepare yourself!

1)  Skim all of the paragraphs in Vistazo a la Cultura and write down some main points on a peice of paper. 

2) Skim the first paragraph and write what you think this text will be about.

3) Write down what you think the purpose of this text is.

4) Go back to what you are guessing this text will be about, reread your notes and make any second guesses if they are needed.
