Project #5 Learning how to use Microsoft in different ways other than writing will be very helpful. Each product I have create is something I can use in my classroom along with something I could probably use for myself. They are also things as a teacher that you can teach your students to know how to use and intergrate into their projects. I think this will help to have another way for students to learn. As a teacher I can also create some of these myself and post them on my webpages for students to have access to. Product 1) Wordart Acrostic The Wordart Acrostic was based on our names. I wrote my name diagonally in Wordart and then wrote a word describing it. Each word used a different Wordart font to show the different kinds Microsoft word provides. This would be fun for elementary schools students. It could be used for many subjects such as having them write a poem or finding a word acrostic for their new vocabulary words. Product 2) Handout
For the handout we were required to use a border, wordart, and a watermark. I found that it was very useful information because it made my field trip newsletter stand out more. I think using these microsoft tools will help to catch the students and parent attention to your letters. Also it is a good tool to show your students so that they can add things to their word as well. Product 3) Trading Cards
I created my trading cards as Presidents of the United States. I think knowing how to create these cards will come in handy when having my own class. These cards can be used in almost any subject. You can use them for vocabulary and definitions or pictures and what they represent. It is also another way for students to learn how to study so I think it would be helpful to teacher students how to create these to use as a study tool. |
