What Do You Believe In?- In
the beginning of the story the little boy was listening for a sound
that his friend told him he would never hear, the ringing sounds of
Santa's bells. Instead of hearing the sound of Santa's bells he heard
the sound of The Polar Express. Throughout the story the little boy
goes on an adventourious journey to the North Pole aboard The Polar
Express, where indeed he does meet Santa Claus. Even though the
boys friend insisted Santa Claus was not real, the little boy in the
story continued to believe what was in his heart, that Santa Claus was
truly real. In your writing journals write a short story about
something that you cannot see, but even though you can't see it you
still believe in it. Be sure to include strong writing deails, correct
punctuation, and correct spelling.
