to the audio clip from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Type all the
sequence words you hear in the boxes below, in the order you hear them. There are 12 in total. You can
listen
to the sound clip as many times as you need to.
Part 3 - WRITING Directions:
The following events are from "Cinderella and
the
Ball." Although they are numbered in the correct order, notice how
difficult it is to understand when the events happened without sequence
words.
Write
one of the sequence words that you've learned in the box before each
event that will give the story more meaning. The first one is done for
you.
Then, on a separate sheet of paper, re-write the story with the words you've added to hand-in.
1. The page arrived at Cinderella's house with an invitation to the Prince's Ball.
2. The stepmother told
Cinderella that she could go to the Ball only if she finished all her
chores. The stepmother gave her so many chores, she thought she would
never finish them.
3. Cinderella's fairy Godmother appeared and
finished all of her chores with her magic wand.
4. She gave
Cinderella a beautiful white dress and coach so she could go to the
ball, and told her that she had to be home before midnight.
Cinderella was so happy!
5. Cinderella arrived at the Ball in her beautiful dress.
6. The clock started to strike midnight!
7. Cinderella quickly left the ball and left behind one of her glass slippers. The Prince found the glass slipper and said he will find the girl whose foot fits the slipper.
8. The Prince arrived at Cinderella's house and gave her the slipper.
9. Cinderella and the Prince lived happily ever after.
