How to conujugate an "er" verb                                                 An "er" verb is any verb in Spanish ending in the letters "er". In order to conjugate any verb, there are steps that need to be followed. We will use the verb "comer" in our lesson today. 1. Draw a verb chart and fill in your pronouns (yo, tù, èl, ella, usted, nosotros, ellos, ellas, ustedes). 2. Define the verb comer=____________. 3. Comer means to eat! Drop, your "er" and next to your pronouns in your verb chart, add the root (-com) without the endings. Remember a root of a word is anything without the ending. 4.  Now that "com" is gone, we need to fill in the endings for an "er" verb. The endings are : O ES E EMOS EN So our new forms should be 1. Yo como 2. Tù comes 3. Èl come, Ella come, usted come 4. Nosotros comemos 5. Ellos comen, Ellas comen, ustedes comen Return to Objectives
