Avignon Bridge
This
is a medieval bridge from the time when Rome controlled France. It
crossed the Rhône River but only half the bridge remains. Tourists are
allowed to walk out onto it.
Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde
This
is the main tourist attraction in Marseille. It is a 19th century
church located in the Vieux Port. From the top of the 60 meter belfry,
tourists can see wonderful views of the city.
Promenade des Anglais
This is a walkway that lines the Bay of Angels. It is lined with cafés and usually filled with people. It is the heart of Nice.
Cannes Film Festival
This
international film festival is held in April and May every year. It is
one of the biggest and most important film festivals of the year and
attracts millions of stars and fans.
