IR - to go

When trying to say someone is going to do something in Spanish, use the formula IR + A + INFINITIVE.
Step one: Check your subject (who is doing the action) and find the proper conjugation of IR to go with it (ex. I = yo VOY)
Step two: add the letter A after the conjugated form of IR. In Spanish, A means "to"
Step three: add an infinitive (unconjugated verb) Remember, these verbs always end in -AR, -ER, or -IR.

Example: I am going to dance.
Step one: "I" is the subject. To say "I" in Spanish, we say "yo" and the "yo" form of IR is "voy".
Step two. Add "a"..........Voy a
Step three. Add the infinitive "to dance" in Spanish, which is "bailar"
FINAL RESULT: Voy a bailar
