I am a graduate from SUNY Cortland that is now certified in Spanish Education 6-12. I currently live in Utica, New York and am a substitute teacher at Whitesboro High School in Marcy, New York. I am also working towards my Master's degree in English as a Second Language at SUNY Cortland and it is my first semester matriculated in the program.
In addition to working at Whitesboro, I also work part time in a restaurant called Carmella's Cafe, located in New Hartford, New York. I am part of the wait and closing staff and have been working there for about a year and a half.
I recently got a puppy, his name is Daxter and I love playing with him. He brightens up my day when I come home from a long day of work and is a great stress reliever. His picture is shown to the left.
Furthermore, I am an avid reader that can get lost in a book quite easily. I enjoy reading fiction books in both Spanish and English. My favorite books include Game of Thrones, La casa de los espiritus, and The Divinci Code.
