Project # 1
Initial Publication of your Protfolio
Project number one consisted of creating a website using the NVU
software. We learned how to change the front, background color, how to
insert links, add pictures and how to publish what you created on to
the internet using FileZilla. We also learned that there are three
steps in to making sure that all of your things are uploaded and
working properly. You have to check the link, use Nvu to change
information and save, and then go to the FileZilla to upload what you
changed to the internet. I
thought this project was a great experience. I never realized how much
work goes into creating a website. I think that when Im a
future teacher I will use this in order to put a website on to the
internet in order for my students and parents to enjoy. I could use the
website to relate information and resources to the parents about what
their children have been learning and the experiences they have
explored. This a is great tool to know how to use and Im excited to
learn more about computers and technology!
