Project 2
 
    I created a website for an elementary school. ARW Elementary School is a simulation that I developed for the purpose of this project. The website was created using googlesites. I used memories from my childhood to help me create the school name as well as the names of employees. I worked on this project by myself and found it to be slightly difficult at times. Googlesites is very different compared to NVu but the concept is the same. I found googlesites to be more restricted than NVu but nevertheless googlesites was easy to maneuver. This project was not my favorite one during the semester but it introduced me to a program that I was unfamilliar with. In my future teaching I can use googlesites to develop webpages for my classroom. These webpages can be used as a way to inform parents of what we are doing in the classroom as well as posting announcements that are important. I could also include a calendar or schedule of class work and assignments so if a student is absent they can still see what their homework is.
