Project 7: Photostory Telling
For
this project we had to create a photostory about anything we wanted.
While I thought that creating a photostory would be difficult, it
ended up being extremely simple to make. We used Photostory 3 for
Windows to create the story. In order to create the photostory,
pictures had to be imported, a caption was given, and music and
animation was added to make the photostory presentation interesting.
This project could definitely be used in my future classroom.
Photostory allows students to express themselves creatively.
Also because creating a photostory is so easy to do, students
will feel comfortable using the program to create a project.
Photostory will allow students to use technology that is easy to
create a final projec that looks like it took a lot of effort.
Students will enjoy creating something that means something to
them.
For my photostory, I showed pictures from my summer. For the past
two years, my sisters, cousins, and I have gone to Brooklyn for its
Annual Caribbean Carnival. Each year we get together for a day filled
with dancing, laughing, and fun.
