This project is my first attempt at creating an eportfolio.  The eportfolio will help me keep all of my projects and educational information together.  I will be able to use this portfolio in the future to show employers what I have done and learned.  In creating this project I was able to experiment with using different aspects of a web composer.  I use Nvu to create my webpage.  This was a good experience for me because I had only used a web authoring tool once before.  I was able to create links and use pictures from the internet.  I think the most important part of the process was to learn how to publish the web portfolio.  To publish the page I used WS_FTP.  It feels very rewarding to see the final website published.  
    This type of technology would be very useful in the classroom.  By having a class website, the children will be able to see what activities they will be doing, the upcoming assignments, and interesting links related to what they are learning.  Class websites are also very helpful for parents to see what their children are learning.   Now that I understand how to create a website, I would like to use this technology in the future as a teacher.
