Project #2: Elementary School Website Design Contest

The purpose of this particular project is to create and publish a homepage for an Elementary School.  I chose to create an imaginary Elementary School, so individuals searching the Internet would not be confused when they come across the homepage I created containing false information about an existing Elementary School.  I also chose to use NVu and FileZilla instead of Google Sites in creating this page simply because I am more comfortable with using NVu.  When creating this homepage, I chose to add the links; Faculty, Lunch Menu, and Important Dates as links that would be most beneficial for parents and guardians.  I feel confident in using these tools, and some day incorporating them into my own classroom for my students' and their parents benefit.  I have begun to realize how much work it takes to keep a website up to date.
