This was an optional project that is done using Microsoft Word. There are two parts to this project; create an acrostic poem using your name and the tool WordArt, and secondly to create an educational handout displaying a border, shading, and fill effects. I thought I was familiar with using these tools, however, I did learn many different aspects of the program that I was not familiar with. I believe it is important to be competent in using these tools considering teachers are constantly making handouts and informational pages for children and their parents pertaining to the classroom.
