For this project we had to create a brochure using Microsoft Publisher. I was already familiar with creating brochures through Microsoft Publisher, however, I learned how to create other items such as, signs, handouts, posters, etc., using this program. I chose to create my brochure for Math Day that is taking place at a local elementary school with my EDU 373 class. My brochure contains information about the specific activity that we are implementing with the students, as well as other relevant information about fractions relating to our activity. Microsoft Publisher will definitely come in handy as a resource for a classroom because it is a convenient and easy program to use for providing class related information to parents, students, faculty, the community, etc.
