Microsoft Publisher
This project was
a group project that I completed with Andrea. Andrea found much
of the information for the articles and calendar. I used
publisher to create the newsletter and calendar. The one thing I
found difficult is that Publisher cannot convert between versions, so I
could only work on this project with a computer that had the correct
version.
For this project, we not only learned how to use Publisher but we also learned how to create screen shots of our projects. Publisher was a program I had already had experience with but I still learned new techniques that I had not used before and it was helpful to learn how to create screen shots.
If as a teacher I have access to a program such as Publisher, I can see how it would be useful to create classroom calendars and newsletters. It can also be used for many other projects such as labels, and programs for classroom plays or productions.
