Project number one was the publication of our very own website. To complete this project we learned how to used the program NVU. NVU can be somewhat confusing when not properly explained; therefore we received good instructions from our teacher and TA’s. There are several different tools that allow you to create your personal website, including changing font, changing the style of the font, creating a personal background, and inserting images. Fortunately, I was experienced with this program and had no difficulties, because I have used it before. There were a few new things I learned though, which would have made the website that I created last year a lot more easier! I am excited to be working with this program for the rest of the semester; I think it is a fun project and something that could be very useful in beginning one’s teaching career.
