1. Transportation (5 points)
____2 points - types of transportation listed
____3 points - prices/amounts listed

2. Flights (10 points)
____5 points - completed printout of itinerary
____2 points - amount in foreign currency
____2 points - amount in American currency
____1 point - for having a round trip flight

3. Passport application (5 points)
____5 points - completed and printed out

4. 2 cities (10 points)
____2 points - cities listed
____8 points - transportation and accomodations to and from both cities

5. Lodging (10 points)
____5 points - printout of accomodations
____2 points - amount in foreign currency
____2 points - amount in American currency
____1 point - booked during required time frame

6. Weather (5 points)
____2 points - predicted temperature in Fahrenheit
____2 points - predicted temperature in Celsius
____1 point - one sentence about weather in Spanish

7. Activities (10 points)
____10 points - one activity per day (1 point per activity) including costs, length of time, and transportation

8. Clothing and travel necessities (10 points)
____1/2 point per item listed and translated to Spanish

9. Food and drink (10 points)
____4 points - 1 point for each food/drink listed in Spanish
____2 points - 1/2 point each for listing foods/drinks in English
____4 points - 1 point each for a short description of the foods/drinks in Spanish

10. Gifts (5 points)
____1 point - list of names of family and friends that you plan to buy for
____2 points - list of gifts purchased and for whom
____2 points - 1 point for the amount in foreign currency and 1 point for amount in American currency

11. Postcard (10 points)
____10 points - 1 point per each quality sentence

12. Vocabulary (5 points)
____5 points - 1 point per each new word/expression

13. Budget/Total money spent (5 points)
____5 points - Did you stay within your budget?

Total Points Earned ______ out of 100 possible points

Each person is responsible for completing one of the following as a visual/prop:
food, photo album, poster, brochure, extra postcards, or an original ideas approved by your teacher!

After completing the requirements, you may choose to add an extra visual/prop for extra credit!
