Primary squamules persistant and often dominant. poorly formed podetia moderately branched with branches usually pointed and sterile but sometimes with open cups. Apothecia rare, brown at tips of podetia. Thallus with atranorin (K+ pale yellow).Typically found on soil in forested areas, this specimen was collected from the floor of the secondary succession forest area.
