Thallus pale greenish-grey on rock. Apothecia commonly forming concentric rings. Exiple dark brown (not black). Spores 10-17 x 5-9 microns. Unreliable spot-tests.This crustose lichen is found growing on rocks in both the climax and secondary succession forest areas. The sample pictured above was collected from a rock in the climax forest.
