Art is the soul of a community. It connects the community with its past, but encourages it towards the future.

Welcome to the home page of the Whitney Point Fine Arts Museum. Founded in 1940 by industrialist
Gladstone P. Lillicrap and his wife, Minerva, we are located in the picturesque village of Whitney Point in
central New York State. The museum houses one of the finest collections of American art in a small
museum. Mr. and Mrs. Lillicrap donated their personal collection and we have continued to acquire world
renowned artists over the years. Although a small museum we have Renoirs, Picasso, Monets and Warhols
in our collection. Come visit us!

The mission of the Whitney Point
