In this assignment, you will follow instructions on each page of the Webquest which will nurture your understanding of Shakespearean poetry and how to interpret it.  You will also compose your own Shakespearean-style poetry as a result of your new knowledge.  The Webquest will provide background on the techniques and history of this style of poetry, as well as a brief biography of William Shakespeare, and some supplementary information which will enhance your understanding of these literary pieces.  You will be interacting with the Webquest in response to your reading of “The Taming of the Shrew”, which will serve as the primary reference point for the purposes of this assignment.
