Acrostic Poem

NETS for Teachers Standard 3C: Teachers use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Reflection: I created this activity with the help of Microsoft Word and the Word Art Accessory. This activity could be used in the beginning of the school year to help the children get adjusted to the classroom. I would make them on paper plates and hang them from the ceiling. If the children wanted to get more creative they could dangle facts about themselves off the paper plate to be more creative.

Rebus Poem

NETS for Teachers Standard 3C: Teachers use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Reflection: I created this activity with the help of Microsoft Word and the Word Art Accessory. I would use this activity in the beginning of the school year as a fun way to gather my children at circle time and have fun together reading poetry. I would read the poem out loud and once I got to the picture I would have the children shout out the word that corresponds with it.

Trading Cards

NETS for Teachers Standard 3C: Teachers use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Reflection: I created this activity with the help of Microsoft Word and the Word Art Accessory. I would implement the trading cards in the classroom by leaving them out for the students to use during a free time. I would also have the children air up and pick a topic of their own and have them make their own trading cards.

Math Book

NETS for Teachers Standard 3C: Teachers use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Reflection: I created this activity with the help of Microsoft Word and the Word Art Accessory. I would use this in my classroom after taking a fied trip. I would gather pictures together that were takin from the field trip and put them in sequential order. I would have the children help me figure out what the words of the book would be. later I would bind the book and have it available in the classroom for the children to read.
