For project #5 we were required to, as a group, create an educational web quest for students. Within the web quest, we had to include a big idea question which our web quest is based on. We also have to include an introduction, process, task, evaluation, conclusion, and resource page. Our web quest that our group created was a web quest on apples and was focused towards second grade. Within this web quest the students will learn about a variety of apples and what they are used for. To create this web quest, we used google sites. I then had to make a link in my Eportfolio to our web quest in google sites.

As a future teacher, this is a great way to facilitate the children’s learning. The teacher can create a web quest on a topic the students are learning about in class. The students can complete the web quest as a way to become more educated on the topic. Web quest are also a great way for teachers to evaluate the students understanding of a lesson being taught in the class.
