Project #1 allowed us to created our very first website. We used a program called Nvu. This program gave us many options to make out website unique. After we creating our page, we had to connect it to the Cortland website. After we connected the Cortland website, we used Filezilla to move our files to make our website official.
Through this process, I learned how to make links and insert pictures. On my Home page I put a picture of myself. I also included an About me page to explain a little about myself. I put two photos, one of my best friend Lauren and the other of my boyfriend and I. I think these are two of the most important people in my life.
I have never made a webpage before, so this was a great learning experience. I think I will use this in the future as a teacher. I can eventually create a website for my classroom.
