Mike Davis Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources

Mike Davis is senior vice president, Global Human Resources with responsibility for all human resource functions at General Mills. Previously, he was vice president, Human Resources, U.S. Retail and Corporate for three years, and prior to that he served for nine years as vice president, Compensation & Benefits.

Before joining General Mills, Davis worked for fifteen years as a compensation consultant with Towers Perrin. When he left Towers Perrin in 1996, he was the firm’s worldwide practice leader for executive compensation.

For the past three years Davis has served as an adjunct professor at the Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota. He also serves on the board and is vice chairman of the Employee Benefits Research Institute. Davis is a current board member and former board chair of the National Business Group on Health, a board member of the Human Resources Policy Association, and has served on the board and has been board chair of WorldatWork.

Davis has two Bacherlor of Science degrees from Purdue University in industrial management and computer science, and an MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
