Sean Walker Vice President; President, Latin America and South Africa

Sean Walker became president of General Mills Latin America and South Africa on June 1, 2009. He has responsibility for business and brand growth in markets including Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, and the Caribbean. Previously, Walker served as regional vice president, Latin America.

Walker joined General Mills Canada in 1989. He has served in roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and Canada, including vice president of Finance for General Mills Canada, director of Financial Operations for Betty Crocker and vice president of Financial Operations for the Meals division. In 2003, after the General Mills acquisition of The Pillsbury Company, he moved to the role of vice president of Marketing responsible of the Green Giant business.

Walker worked for the Hershey Company prior to joining General Mills and is a graduate of York University.
