Gary Chu Senior Vice President; President, Greater China

As president of Greater China, Gary Chu oversees operations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Chu joined General Mills in 1998 and served as the company's managing director for China. With the acquisition of Pillsbury, he assumed responsibility for the Häagen-Dazs and Wanchai Ferry operations in China. In June 2006, he became president of Greater China.

In 1985, Chu earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Newark. He received certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1992.
