Simple Ingredients Make New Pillsbury® simply…™ Cookies Delicious

06/22/2009
The name for Pillsbury’s new line of refrigerated cookie dough speaks for itself.  Pillsbury® simply…™ Refrigerated Cookies are made with simple ingredients and nothing more. They contain zero grams trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

Available in traditional favorite flavors of peanut butter and chocolate chip, the cookies are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla and chocolate chips or peanut butter— just like you would make cookies at home. Refrigerated simply…™ cookies are ready to bake, so people looking for simplicity in the foods they eat can have warm cookies from their oven in minutes, with no messy preparation.

“There are a growing number of moms who are looking for simpler, familiar foods. They are comfortable cooking and baking at home,” said Jennifer Jorgensen, Pillsbury Marketing Manager. “But they still need foods that fit into their busy days. Having these refrigerated cookies on hand makes it easy for them to bake at home when time is tight and then feel good about serving the cookies to their family.”

The new simply…™ cookies package is white and uncomplicated for easy reference. Each package makes 12 cookies. Just place the cookie dough on a cookie sheet, bake and enjoy.

“Nothing makes a house feel more like a home than the aroma of cookies baking,” says Jorgensen.  “I know that sharing warm cookies is one special way my family reconnects after a hectic day.”

Pillsbury® simply…™ cookies are available now in the refrigerated section of grocery stores. The suggested retail price is $3.49. For more information, recipes and other cookie ideas, visit www.pillsbury.com.
