Keep blankets and clothing away from lamps and other objects that might be warm or hot.
Ask an adult to turn a radiator or heater on or off for you...never touch them yourself...they might by HOT!
Do not stand too close, or touch, a woodstove or fireplace...you could get burned or your clothes could catch on fire.
Never play with matches, lighters, or candles...Tell an adult right away if you see any of these items left laying around in a room.
Never cook alone! You should only be cooking with an adult...and be mindful to keep towels away from the oven and flames.
Do not play with electrical cords. Do not stick anything into an outlet. Ask your mom & dad for outlet covers to prevent another family member from playing with or near outlets.
