Word Search Puzzle
For project #3, I was able to construct a word search puzzle. In order to create the puzzle, I used puzzle generator from the website SchoolDiscovery.com. This website allows anyone to create numerous, fun puzzles that can be used in the classroom. After altering the puzzle to the way I wanted it, I copied and pasted it into Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word enabled me to make additional changes to the puzzle such as the watermark behind the puzzle. Next, I took a scree shot and pasted it to MS Paint. I made some last minute changes and saved it under a .jpeg file. Finally, I was able tp add the puzzle to my projects page and create a link to the actual word document. This project helped me learn more about computers and now I am able to create my own word search puzzles for my own class in the future. Word search puzzles are great for helping students become familar with new vocabulary words.
