For project 3 we had to create a word search for our eportfolio. We used Puzzle Maker, Paint, Microsoft Office, and Nvu to complete this project.  We started by using the puzzle maker website and we filled in all the questions that were asked. Then we copied and pasted our puzzle into Microsoft word. Here we made the puzzle look the way we wanted it to, which included using a watermark. Following this we then brought our puzzle into paint. After that we used Nvu to upload our projects. For my individual puzzle I made a word search for a book called Journey Home.  The puzzle has vocabulary words that are directly from the book. I think it would be a great activity for students to be able to make their own word searches but I think it would take a good amount of time for each child to upload it so I don’t know if I would go that far. I really like the puzzle maker website and I’m sure I’ll be using it again.
