Project 1:



    This is my first project in Computer class. Ive taken several computer and keyboarding classes in high school but this one seems like the most interesting. This project is called the intial publication of our E- portfolio. This allows us to begin making our homepage and to access it on our own.   It brings us to not only become familiar with new  technology but also show off our interests and achievements.

     The technology I've used to create this e portfolio was Nvu, firezilla and the SUNY Cortland homepage website. I think it is important for teachers to require the skills and knowledge of computers in order to facilitate their computers in their own classroom to have different styles and forms of learning. With the advancement of technology and the younger generation knowing more about computers then their parents I believe it is imperative for teachers to have a expansive knowledge in computers. Most homes have at least one computer and many children often play on them which creates learning and also are beginning to do work on them at an early age. I am excited to be aware of the new technology that is available on the web.
