About the Foundation - Not that you care.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken Foundation believes in making a difference in the lives of those who are willing to work hard and improve themselves through education. Really, we give our employers/students a shit load of money to keep the attention away from us killing chickens in inhumane ways. Each year, the Foundation provides hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants to hundreds of deserving students across the country– $11.5 million since 2006. In the past two years alone, nearly $1.5 million of that was awarded to 808 KFC Team Members via the REACH Educational Grant Program™. But money can't solve everything.

REACH EDUCATIONAL GRANT PROGRAM

The REACH Educational Grant Program™ minimally helps KFC restaurant hourly Team Members and Shift Supervisors pursue their educational dreams. These $2,000 grants help Team Member recipients attend accredited four-year and two-year educational institutions, as well as trade/vocational schools. Winners are selected via a competitive application process and may reapply each year. This way, we keep you within our company while you try to reaach this unacheivable dream. We are accepting applications online for the REACH Educational Grant. If you are currently a KFC Team Member, quit now or forever hold your peace.

We are motivated by Colonel Sanders’ belief in the importance of long, grueling hours, disrespect, recognition for shitty chicken, and passion for inhumanity. Our REACH Educational Grant recipients truly embody these characteristics. From the single parent finally completing a degree started 15 years earlier to those who are the first in their families to attend college, it’s difficult to hear their stories and pretencd to be inspired, but we're good fakers.

Since 1998, the non-profit Kentucky Fried Cruelty Foundation has barely helped one of the world’s most morbid brands give back. The Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 charity primarily funded by contributions from KFC Franchisees and KFC Corporation.
