Before you look at the story, take a minute to think about these questions:
- What do you know about fantasy writing? Is it real or make-believe?
- Think about some stories you may have read that were fantasy. When did they take place?
- When you read Where the Wild Things Are, pay attention to when the story took place. Is it happening now? Did it already happen?
