Project 4:

In this project I learned some new effects in Microsoft Word.  I knew a little bit about WordArt but now I know how to create a vertical wordart image.  We created a word acrostic of our names.  This activity would be great for elementary students to create during the first week of school.  There are many adjectives that a person can use to spell out the letters in their first name.  I also learned how to put a watermark picture in the background.  I did not know how to create a border but it is very easy.  I also created a newsletter to for a classroom inviting parents to attend the holiday Christmas Party.  Microsoft Word provides a lot of templates for the user but you can also create your own.
